Our spacious double rooms (27m2) have natural interior walls (Wood100 or clay) and oiled oak floors. The soothing effect of the smell of wood and the warm atmosphere of clay walls, as well as tasteful natural furnishings provides freshness and plain beauty. The terraces and covered balconies facing the Gehrihorn and the rushing Chiene invite to rest. Most of the ChieneHuus studios have a kitchen so that guests can cook for themselves (flat rate for final cleaning: double room 1-4 nights CHF 30.00, 5 nights and more CHF 50.00).
Vacation guests are welcome (even during Corona). It should be noted that ChieneHuus is not a classic hotel. ChieneHuus guests take their meals at the neighboring Kientalerhof Campus (exception: cure guests). In the mornings there is a breakfast buffet (8:00-9:00 a.m., longer times by arrangement). Lunch (12:30-13:15) and dinner (18:30-19:10) are served as plate service at the counter. The joint reception is also located in the Kientalerhof.
Prices
Holiday guests not attending any seminar or course have the choice between overnight with breakfast (always included), half board or full board. Single meals booked separately cost CHF 28 (lunch) and CHF 25 (dinner). For bookings without breakfast the kitchen – if available in the corresponding double room – is automatically activated and the flat rate for the final cleaning of the kitchen is added. We do offer reduced prices for children. Please contact us for more information.
If you are interested in a less expensive room, there are simpler single, double and multi-bed rooms available in our main house, the neighbouring Kientalerhof.
